Fear and Anxiety: How to help your fearful dog
Fear and anxiety issues are common and cause immense distress for dogs and their carers. Lisa will be talking about the psychology of fear, genetic and environmental influences, and why dogs respond to fear in various ways. Caroline will discuss ways in which you can help your dog to overcome fears through using purely force-free, reward-based methods.

Lisa Tenzin-Dolma is the principal of the International School for Canine Psychology & Behaviour (ISCP), the founder of the Dog Welfare Alliance, and Chair of The Association of INTO Dogs. She is also the author of 26 books on a wide range of subjects, including 4 books about canine behaviour and psychology.
Owner of Ruff Hounds, Caroline is a qualified dog trainer and approved member of the APDT. She is a Certified Real Dog Yoga Practitioner and member of the ABTC, INTODogs! and the DWA. Caroline runs positive method dog training classes and workshops in Bath and surrounding areas, as well as seeing clients on a 1:1 private training basis. She is a licensed Clever Dog Company Instructor and acts as a mentor for their new instructors.
